2020 Operations Until Further Notice

Guidelines reassessed on two week intervals. Welcome to Highland Oaks Golf Course. WIth the challenging times we are all experiencing due to COVID-19, I want everyone to know the HOGC board of directors and staff are taking the current pandemic seriously. We must all follow the CDC guidelines to help stop the spread of COVID- 19. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. We will do our part to prevent the virus, please do yours. Read these rules carefully. If anyone is found breaking these rules they will be asked to leave the course immediately. Please realize this is our attempt at making HOGC open to our members and with your help we can successfully accomplish this goal. All of these guidelines apply as of April 15 and will remain in place until further notice.

  1. Course open to members who have paid their 2020 membership dues.
    • We are not open for green fee play or cart rentals at the current time.
    • Members will need a single/dual cart lease in order to ride on a cart.
  2. Carts available for those that have paid their 2020 cart lease.
    • 1 person on each cart -exception (2 per cart ex. husband/wife, parent/child no more than 2 per cart, Living in the same household)
    • Carts are numbered and after use we ask you return the cart to its numbered area for sanitation.
    • course staff will sanitize carts to the best of our ability but if members would also bring sanitizing wipes from home and wipe off carts themselves that would be encouraged.
    • carts will be available during clubhouse hours only.
  3. Clubhouse hours from Noon - 6 pm. Weather permitting
    • Operate through front window, sell beverages/candy through window (We will not be handing out Coolers, you can bring your own empty cooler.)

  4. Tee Times
    • 20 min between tee times. This will allow social distancing between groups. (This should allow 7 tee times over a 2 hour period, and require 28 carts max being used. We currently have 33 carts.)
    • 4 players per group and no more -this will be important because it will allow us a way to figure how long a 9 hole round will take and help to relieve the issue of playing through.
    • Everyone must start on hole #1 and no jumping around to different holes.
    • Call the clubhouse to make tee times REMINDER:Clubhouse hours are 12-6. Last tee will be at 6 pm.
    • Walking is permitted before, during, and after clubhouse hours (Walking will require a tee time during clubhouse operating hours)
    • Arrive 10 min prior to tee time. If late, you will forfeit your tee time and have to make a new tee time.
    • Tee times will be limited to 18 holes additional rounds may be played if tee times available / no tee times with carts after 6 pm.
  5. All beverages must be purchased through the clubhouse as always.
  6. No loitering around the clubhouse / deck / parking lot before, during, or after playing.
